Gates: David passed away on April 28, 2017. He is survived by Maryann; his children Michael (Kim) Fish, Danielle (Brandon) Vanderhoff; Caroline Fish; grandchildren Steven, Alivia & Robert; dear friend Jeremy Schleich; siblings Nancy, Joyce, Linda & Rick. David retired after 30 plus years from Kodak Elmgrove and was an avid poker player.

David's Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 5 at 10 am at All Souls Chapel in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Burial to follow. Snyder , Robert (Joan) Snyder; grandchildren Michael (Megan), Brian, Christine Canfield, Amy (Joe) Maggio, Rebecca (Jason) Charpinsky; several great-grandchildren. Brent was a friend to everyone. Born in Prince Edward Island, Canada, he moved to Rochester in 1941. He retired from Eastman Kodak Company.

Rochester: April 13, 2017. Former 16 School Crossing Guard. Violet passed peacefully at home surrounded by family. She was predeceased by her husband of 65 years Eugene; son Richard and daughter Joan. She is survived by her son Ken (Deborah) Keating; daughter Karen (Dominic) D’Agostino; and many beloved family members and friends. Mom was the crossing guard at Post & Arnett from 1965-1995 and a lifelong resident of the 19th Ward.
