Goodlein, Henry Jr.

GATES- Peacefully entered into rest on August 10, 2018 at the age of 93. He was predeceased by his loving and devoted wife A. Patricia Goodlein and sister Rita Hargis. Hank is survived by his children Gail Harris, Glenn (Sheryl), Gary (Sue) and David Goodlein, Susan (Ken) McCorry, Paula (Jeff) Mikols; grandchildren Liz (Ben) Berke, Shauna (Matt) Ketchum, Jessie (Tommy) Lochner, Ken McCorry, Alison (Jeff) Brannan, Andy (fiancé Corey) Goodlein, Julia (Brandon) Long, Jeanette McCorry, Eric and Jack Mikols; great-grandsons Thomas and Bradley Lochner, Dean, Tobias and Franklyn Ketchum; sister Marlene Robinson; many nieces, nephews and friends.

Hank proudly served in the Navy during WWII in both the Atlantic and Pacific Theaters. He retired in 1988 after 45+ years in the elevator industry as owner of Downey-Goodlein Elevator Corp. Hank was an avid golfer, fisherman, hunter and family man.

Visiting hours are 5-8pm Monday, August 20 at James R. Gray Funeral Home 1530, Buffalo Rd, 14624. Celebration of Life will be Tuesday, August 21 at 10am at St. Vincent De Paul Church, 11 N Main St, 14428. Burial with Military Honors will follow at St. Vincent De Paul Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent DePaul Church or the charity of your choice in Hank’s name.
