Donald McKenzie

Suddenly on April 22, 2024, surrounded by his loving family at the age of 68.  Donald was predeceased by his son Rashi McKenzie; parents Clinton McKenzie and  Bessie Cummings-Howard and siblings Clinton, William, Beverley and Arnold McKenzie. 

He is survived by his children Takisha Times, Donyell McKenzie and Chasman McKenzie; stepmother Willie Mae McKenzie; grandchildren Nubia, Bryant Jr. & Aijalon Cromartie, Eryka McKenzie, Donyell McKenzie Jr., Kéloni McKenzie-Logins; siblings Bruce McKenzie, Michael (Charma) McKenzie, Fimone "Mona" (Elijah) Snipes and Hulando "Roman" Howard; sister-in-law Lorraine McKenzie; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Donald was a gifted athlete and was blessed with a beautiful voice. He was creative and loved working with his hands. Most recently, he discovered a passion for working with and restoring wooden boats. 

Donald loved his family dearly and generously helped those in need. Let this be the legacy he is remembered for. 

Friends and family are invited to a Memorial Service on Thursday, May 2, 2024 from 6-8 PM at Bethel Christian Fellowship, The Link Building, 17 Anson Place, Rochester, NY 14607.
